Do you love sitting at the intersection of business strategy and digital content?
We are currently looking for a content strategist with a background in digital marketing or design. The role will require a combination of strategy and delivery orchestration (managing the internal team and contractors who do the work).. We are a young company on the move offering a lot of opportunity to grow in your position along with the company.
As Digital Hot Sauce’s Content Strategist you will sit on the bleeding edge of marketing strategy and world class content design thinking.
The responsibility of the content strategist is to deliver strategic recommendations and manage the team executing content and design related deliverables across all clients. This role also plays a key strategic role in our business development process, injecting strategic recommendations for potential new business.
Depending on the client, the content strategist will play a role somewhere on the spectrum from coach/advisor – ensuring the quality of execution is up to standards and strategy is aligned with business outcomes, through to rolling up their sleeves and implementing the strategy via user journey mapping, wireframing, design and writing.
At Hot Sauce we work with a handful of exciting community bettering brands in their infancy. Experience in leading and facilitating brand development is a major bonus. This entails skills from discovery workshops with the client and customers to managing key design and brand team members who will deliver end products.

Voice of the Customer
The content strategist must always be the voice of the customer, both for internal and client meetings. From competitor research, to in-house deep dive persona building, this role is responsible for articulating the customer’s pains or desires and how to speak to those via value propositions of the client’s business. This includes asking tough questions and centering conversations by keeping our target audience in the room.
With the customer in mind, the Content Strategist will play a key role in determining what digital marketing tactics make sense for reaching this particular audience. Strategy for content will include both what type of content and how to distribute that content to our target.
Hot Sauce is company of doers; we like to keep our hands dirty. The content strategist will continue to implement alongside of Marketing Managers and Coordinators.
